Dina Torrans
Singer, Songwriter, Visual Artist.
Dina was a founding member of the hip-pop band Family Ritual whose recordings included their full length debut album Saloon and several single & EP collections. Several songs from that collection were licensed for use in film and television as well as receiving radio airplay and winning a number of grants and awards in the Toronto arts community
Dina continues to write and record songs in the Mojave high desert of California at Earth House Hold Studios and with Melody Lane Records. She has been collaborating with her husband Jeffrey Barrett and several other talented players and songwriters out here since they arrived in 2019.
She is currently working on a collection of songs to be recorded and released by Melody Lane Records in 2024.
